Close to centre town. Low noise. Close to main highway.
Air conditioner was too close to the headboard. Would have been more comfortable in a king bed. Room needs an update
At check in we asked for places to eat nearby. We were told of 3 Chinese and 2 pizza places. P.E.I.? Seafood should have been the recommendation!
It's now called Queens Arms Inn. Offers free WiFi and continental breakfast included. Pleasant staff. Guest laundry. On main road but little noise. We were in one of the wings and the rooms were a little old but comfortable and spacious enough. Microwave and fridge provided.
No tea/coffee making facilities.
No coffee makers in room, antique TV's, limited to no Wi-Fi. They tell you to get Wi-Fi to hook into one of the neighboring business'S. Have to walk outside around building to get complimentary breakfast. Pool was not swimmable, not even nice to look at. Front of building is maintained, but no where else. Put it this way, I will never book another vacation at another econolodge, no matter where it is, this place put me off that much.
Not one thing. And didn't like is being kind.
The value and location
Ice machine broke, but working in no time. Air conditioner was not ready to use. Plastic still covering it.
It's a fine value for what you pay.
The facilities are in varying states of disrepair, like loose tiles on steps, etc.
It was convenient to the airport for an arrival in the middle of the night.
The location of this property is good if you're needing access to the airport, but it is a long way from the downtown core or any attractions. The complimentary breakfast is only white bread or sugary cereal or yogurt. The room the breakfast is in was not so clean and the tables consisted of old mismatched and falling apart chairs. One even had a big burn mark from an iron on it. There was one woman who was helpful on staff at the desk. The man on the desk was helpful if he was around, but was always in the little room off the office doing who knows what and would not always hear you and/or bother to come out. The room itself was typical cheap motel feel. If the price were half what I paid perhaps I could give it a better review, but I felt it was quite outrageously priced for what I got.
The location was exactly what we were looking for. Close to everything and Tim Hortons just bdown the street.
Nothing that stands out. We were very pleased.
Early. Breakfast and location good
The staff are very friendly ...and close to everything ..but staff go above and beyond for u . Thanks again .
staff were excellent. TRACEY, RENA AND MICHAEL
Not any thing particular
The sink of the wash room is stained and dirty The tub and along the edges are black moldy bed is unconformable, the middle post of the bed frame was exposed and it hit my leg when I moved around. etc, etc
Location and price were very good and the staff extremely friendly
Felt like an old friend. "Hi Nelson, How are you."
It wasn't very clean, the air conditioner in the other room was loud, the bed wasn't comfortable, the phone didn't work, and we paid too much for what we got.
